Fitlakegirl: Kingman, AZ; Hi, my name is Cindy and I am a 44 yr old wife and mother of 2 adorable kids. This blog is about my journey of getting healthy. Along with Losing weight and my journey of recovery. About 9 months ago I got clean and sober and 3 months ago I took control of my health issues. I found an old friend on FB and we connected and I remember in high school she had weight issues just like me. I had asked her how she had lost the weight and she turned me to Beach Body and Shakeology. I wanted to do this for months and knew if worked . I was scare. On September 25th, 2010 my life changed. I did the Hers Foundation Breast Cancer 5k walk with my mom. I was out of breath, in alot of back pain and knee pain and wanted to cry. I did not want to give up. I walked through that finish line with my mom and cried because I completed it. I knew then I could not live this away anymore. On October 4th I started Beachbody and Shakeology. I have lost 14 lbs and lots of inches. Down a shirt and pant size . I am feeling better and I want to give back what my friend Deb gave to me and still gives to me.
